Purpose:
The Presbytery Meeting Planning Team will coordinate all matters related to the smooth functioning of stated and called meetings of the Presbytery, including the place and time of meetings in accordance with Book of Order requirements (G-11.0200).
Members of the Presbytery Meeting Planning Team:
- One representative from each of the four mission teams, with term at the discretion of the leadership council of the mission team
- One representative from the Administrative Team, with term at the discretion of the Administrative Team
- A coordinator of Presbytery worship services selected by the Presbytery Meeting Planning Team
- Moderator of Presbytery who is the moderator of this Team
- Executive Presbyter and Stated Clerk, ex officio
Responsibilities:
- Meet at least one month prior to each Presbytery meeting to set the docket, coordinate reports and worship, and approve any necessary matters related to the appropriate functioning of the Presbytery meeting
- Present overtures or amendments to the Constitution to the Presbytery for action
- Responsible for Presbytery meeting worship services
