Presbyteries have until late May, 2011 to study and vote on the proposed amendments. The Presbytery of East Tennessee will host several open forums this fall for study and discussion of the proposed amendments and will vote on them at the Stated Meeting on February 26, 2011 to be held at Rivermont Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga.

The 219th General Assembly approved the addition of the Confession of Belhar to the Book of Confessions and recommends it to the presbyteries for their vote.
