I’ve been a professional musician for the entirety of my adult life. I’ve played shows in 46 states & 3 countries. I’ve written hundreds of songs (at least 20% of them are good) and have released 14 albums, both solo and with various bands. I’m equally comfortable playing music by the Beatles, Chris Tomlin, KISS, Hillsong & the Rolling Stones. I’m currently worship leader for two Methodist churches in Winston-Salem, NC.I live in Mount Airy, NC with my wife, Jennifer, and my 2 crazy awesome kids, Georgia (16) & Matthew (14). I play acoustic & electric guitars, bass guitar, harmonica, percussion, mandolin, ukulele, and bad piano. And I sing too.

I’m a Presbyterian pastor currently serving a great congregation in Charlotte, NC. I’m also a musician/songwriter and have served as a songleader for various retreats and conferences for the past twenty years. I am thoroughly ensconced in Presbyterian-ness with degrees from the Presbyterian School of Christian Education (M.A.C.E.), Columbia Theological Seminary (M.Div), and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (D.Min). I’m husband to Lorie and chauffeur to our two boys, Connor and Hunter. I play piano, guitar and bass primarily, and I sing. I can fake a few other instruments as needed.

Youth Committee is proud to present Youth Summit 2019! We can not wait to share in service, fellowship, and worship with you! We have leaders that are seasoned pros and we can not wait for you to meet them. Are you thinking of going to Triennium? Well you will get a sneak preview, because JERRY and STEVE and leading music for Triennium as well! We are excited to offer a service project this year, and as always a stellar Youth Council leadership team to guide you in the most fun and most cheesy energizers and games around! We can not wait to share the fun!

This year we have moved into the 21st century, and all our registration is ONLINE! There are a few steps that need to be taken by your Group Leaders.

1) Individual Registration: Make sure every individual in your group fills out an online registration form.

2) Group Rooming Form: When you know your final numbers, Group Leaders will fill out a Group Rooming Form. Please know that if you, or someone in your group, would like or need a single room, there will be an additional $90 fee. If you have one student in a room (Example 3 boys and 1 girl) you will not be charged the additional fee as we can pair you with another group.

Youth Council Members receive a discounted rate. If you don’t know if you are in Youth Council or not, then you are not. Trust us…you’d know.

3) Group Payment: Group leaders will collect payments from their group, then PAY AS ONE CHURCH GROUP via our online payment system. Simply Click to Pay and follow the instructions. Remember all payments after January 28th are considered late and will cost an additional $15 per person.

4) Attend Retreat: Come to the retreat, make memories, meet new friends, and have the time of your life. If you would like a Flyer to send to your group, Click Here!
